LGBTQIA+ Services
Live your most authentic life.
Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community can come with a unique set of challenges in our society. From discrimination and stigma to feelings of isolation and rejection, these folx often face struggles that require special care and attention in therapy. To ignore these unique challenges would be dismissive and ignorant.

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ population. In therapy, we can explore the unique struggles this community faces and work towards finding ways to maximize your life satisfaction and improve your overall wellbeing.
Maybe you are considering coming out or are navigating the best ways to express yourself. Whether you are looking for in-depth gender identity/sexuality support or are just wanting a place where you can be completely yourself, I strive to provide a safe environment free from assumptions and judgments. My collaborative approach to therapy puts you in the driver's seat with me as your co-pilot. We work at your pace at the frequency that feels necessary for you.

In our sessions, we can incorporate developing skills to help manage the stress and anxiety that may arise from being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. We can also explore the barriers that may be holding you back from being your most authentic self and creating meaningful connections.

Together, we can work towards improving your overall mental health and quality of life. Do not hesitate to reach out if you are in need of support. Remember: you are not alone.

I am also able to provide referral letters for Hormone Replacement Therapy and Gender-Affirming Surgeries. I regularly work with The University of Kansas Health System, Children's Mercy Hospital, University Health, and the Saint Luke's Health System and am knowledgable in the requirements for these referrals.
